Bookings, Cancellation & Refund Policy

Last Updated: 5 July 2026

32 Pearls London Ltd is committed to providing high-quality patient care while respecting the time of both patients and healthcare professionals. This Bookings,  Cancellation & Refund Policy explains how appointment bookings, cancellations, refunds and rescheduling are managed.

By booking an appointment directly with 32 Pearls London Ltd, you agree to this policy.

1. APPOINTMENTS BOOKED THROUGH PARTNER CLINICS

32 Pearls London Ltd provides services at a number of independent clinics.

Where your appointment has been booked through one of these clinics, the clinic's own cancellation, refund and payment policies will apply.

Patients should refer to the relevant clinic directly for information regarding appointment changes, cancellations or refunds.

2. APPOINTMENTS BOOKED DIRECTLY WITH 32 PEARLS LONDON LTD

Where appointments are arranged directly with 32 Pearls London Ltd, including online consultations, YTM® Method Therapy, the following policy applies.:

Deposit £50 to secure appointment (redeemable/refundable with correct notice as below)

Payment can be made in full before starting  YTM® Method Therapy or can be made in three instalments with the last payment received before the last session.

No other arrangements will apply and are final.

3. CANCELLATIONS

Patients are asked to provide as much notice as possible if they need to cancel or rearrange an appointment.

  • Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment may be rescheduled or, where payment has already been made, may be eligible for a full refund.

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged in full.

  • Repeated short-notice cancellations may result in future appointments requiring payment in advance.

4. MISSED APPOINTMENTS

If you fail to attend your appointment without prior notice ("no-show"), the appointment fee may not be refunded.

Missed appointments prevent other patients from accessing treatment and result in clinical time being lost.

5. LATENESS

If you arrive late for your appointment, every effort will be made to provide your treatment within the remaining appointment time.

However:

  • Your appointment may need to be shortened.

  • Full treatment may not be possible.

  • In some circumstances the appointment may need to be rescheduled and the full appointment fee may still be payable.

This is to avoid delays affecting other patients.

6. ONLINE CONSULTATIONS/THERAPY

Where consultations and therapy are provided using Zoom or another approved online platform:

  • Patients are responsible for ensuring they have a suitable internet connection and compatible device.

  • If technical difficulties occur on the patient's side, the consultation may not be extended.

  • If technical issues arise due to 32 Pearls London Ltd, every reasonable effort will be made to continue the consultation/therapy or arrange a suitable alternative appointment without additional charge.

7. REFUNDS

Where a refund is appropriate, it will normally be processed using the original payment method.

Refunds may be issued where:

  • An appointment is cancelled with sufficient notice.

  • 32 Pearls London Ltd cancels the appointment and an alternative cannot be arranged.

  • A refund is required under applicable consumer protection legislation.

Refunds will not normally be provided where:

  • A patient fails to attend an appointment.

  • An appointment is cancelled with insufficient notice.

  • Treatment has already been provided.

8. CLINICAL DECISIONS

Following assessment, it may be determined that treatment is not clinically appropriate or should be postponed.

Where this occurs before treatment has commenced, any fees paid for treatment that cannot proceed may be refunded or transferred to another appointment where appropriate.

Patient safety will always take priority over proceeding with treatment.

9. EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES

We recognise that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances can occur.

Requests relating to exceptional situations will be considered individually and any decision regarding refunds or rescheduling will be made at the discretion of 32 Pearls London Ltd.

10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

32 Pearls London Ltd reserves the right to amend this Cancellation & Refund Policy at any time.

The most recent version will always be available on this website.

Consent to Treatment Policy

Last Updated: 5 July 2026

At 32 Pearls London Ltd, we are committed to providing safe, ethical and patient-centred care. Before any assessment or treatment is carried out, we will ensure that you have been provided with sufficient information to make an informed decision about your care.

This policy explains how consent is obtained and managed for all services provided by 32 Pearls London Ltd.

1. OUR COMMITMENT TO INFORMED CONSENT

Consent is a fundamental part of healthcare and is based on mutual trust, clear communication and respect for patient choice.

Before treatment begins, we will explain:

  • The purpose of the assessment or treatment.

  • What the treatment involves.

  • The expected benefits.

  • Any known risks or possible side effects.

  • Alternative treatment options where appropriate.

  • The likely consequences of choosing not to receive treatment.

  • The opportunity to ask questions before making a decision.

Treatment will only proceed once appropriate consent has been obtained.

2. SERVICES COVERED BY THIS POLICY

This policy applies to all services provided by 32 Pearls London Ltd, including:

  • TMJ Therapy® services.

  • Dental Acupuncture and Acupressure.

  • YTM® Method Therapy.

  • Online consultations where treatment advice is provided.

3. GIVING CONSENT

Consent may be given verbally or in writing, depending on the nature of the assessment or treatment.

For treatments involving higher levels of intervention or where clinically appropriate, written consent may be requested before treatment begins.

By giving consent, you confirm that:

  • You understand the information provided.

  • You have had the opportunity to ask questions.

  • Your questions have been answered satisfactorily.

  • You are making your decision voluntarily.

  • You agree to proceed with treatment.

4. ONGOING CONSENT

Consent is an ongoing process rather than a one-time event.

We will regularly check that you remain comfortable with your treatment and understand any changes to your treatment plan.

You are free to ask questions or request further information at any stage.

5. WITHDRAWING CONSENT

You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.

If you decide to stop treatment:

  • Your decision will be respected.

  • Treatment will stop unless immediate action is required to protect your safety.

  • We will discuss any implications that discontinuing treatment may have for your care.

Choosing not to continue treatment will not affect your right to receive respectful and professional care.

6. CONSENT FOR CHILDREN

32 Pearls London Ltd provides treatment for both adults and children.

Where a patient is under the age of 18 years, consent will be obtained from a parent, legal guardian or another person with legal authority where required by law.

Where appropriate, children and young people will also be involved in discussions about their care and encouraged to participate in decisions according to their age, understanding and level of maturity.

7. CAPACITY TO CONSENT

Before treatment, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that each patient has the capacity to understand the information provided and make an informed decision.

Where a patient lacks the legal capacity to provide consent, treatment will only proceed in accordance with applicable legislation and professional guidance.

8. WHEN TREATMENT MAY NOT PROCEED

Treatment may be postponed or declined where:

  • Appropriate consent has not been obtained.

  • There are medical contraindications.

  • Further medical assessment or referral is required.

  • Treatment is not considered to be clinically appropriate.

  • Patient safety may be compromised.

Our primary responsibility is always the safety and wellbeing of our patients.

9. CLINICAL RECORDS

A record of the consent discussion and the patient's decision will be documented within the clinical record where appropriate.

This helps ensure continuity of care and demonstrates that informed consent has been obtained.

10. QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR TREATMENT

We encourage patients to ask questions before, during and after treatment.

Our aim is to ensure that every patient understands their treatment options and feels confident in the decisions they make regarding their healthcare.

11. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

This Consent to Treatment Policy may be reviewed and updated from time to time to reflect changes in legislation, professional guidance or clinical practice.

The latest version will always be available on our website.
